The Global Shapers Heidelberg Hub brings together young people (18 to 27 years old) from Heidelberg and the Rhine-Neckar region who want to take an active role in shaping the place they live in.
We CONNECT people from different backgrounds, studies, and professions to exchange ideas and collaborate across boundaries that usually keep fields apart. Our hub is a space for open dialogue, creativity, and shared motivation.
Within this community, members EMPOWER each other to grow personally, test ideas, and gain the confidence to turn them into action. Since our founding, more than thirty members have joined, contributing their knowledge and energy to projects that strengthen social cohesion, sustainability, and innovation in the region.
Together with stakeholders in the region we ACT to make the Rhine-Neckar area more connected, inclusive, and forward-looking.
Global Shapers Heidelberg e. V. is a registered non-profit association and an official hub of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community. Our mission is to unite young people from Heidelberg and the Rhine-Neckar region to drive positive, locally rooted change.
We design and run community projects across education, sustainability, innovation, and social cohesion — connecting people across disciplines, empowering them to act, and working with local stakeholders to turn ideas into tangible regional impact.
